How to configure Abandoned cart plugin?

1.  Anonymous Cart Recovery

  • What it means: This option allows you to recover carts from customers who are not logged in (anonymous users). 

  • How to use it:  Enable this option if you want to recover abandoned carts from anonymous shoppers.

2. Time Until the First Reminder is Triggered (in Hours)

  • What it means: This setting controls how long after a cart is abandoned the first reminder email will be sent. It’s used only if you haven’t set up a custom schedule for sending reminders.

3. Maximum Number of Notifications to be Sent per Cycle

  • What it means: This setting limits the number of reminder emails that will be sent during each processing cycle. This helps prevent your emails from being flagged as spam by your email provider.

  • How to use it: You can set this to a number that suits your needs to avoid a large number of queues on the Email Server.

4. Abandoned shopping cart expiration time (hours)

  • What it means: This setting automatically clears up abandoned carts. Also, no reminder emails will be sent to the customer. 

  • Eg:- If you set the Abandoned Shopping Cart expiration Time to 24 hours, the setting will clear the abandoned cart if the customer hasn't completed the checkout within 24 hours. After 24 hours, no further reminder emails will be sent.

  •  How to use it: You can set this to a number in hours in the field.
