The Visible Discounts plugin helps you show the actual discount value to your customers—making it easier for them to understand how much they’re saving. Instead of just showing a percent symbol, it clearly displays the exact percentage or amount saved throughout the shopping journey.
Here’s how you can configure the plugin step-by-step:
Step 1: General Settings (Visible Discount Settings)
Go to: Extensions > My Extensions > Visible Discounts > Configuration
1. Enable visible discounts
Turn this on to activate the plugin’s functionality in your shop.
2. Include promotions in the discount calculation
Switch for the discounts from promotions and advanced pricing are not applied simultaneously on products on detail or listing pages.
3. Disable the option to remove promotions from the shopping cart
Enable this to prevent customers from manually removing automatic promotions from their shopping cart.
4. Number of decimal places in the discount percentage
Set how precise the discount percentage should be:
For example, setting it to 1 will show discounts like 15.3%
Setting it to 2 will show 15.34%
5. Excluded Promotions
Here, you can choose specific promotions that you don’t want to be included in the visible discount display.
Step 2: Visibility Settings
These options control where and how the discounts are shown on your storefront.
