How to configure the Visible Discounts App?

Following are the configuration steps:

Step 1: Initial Plugin Configuration

After installing the plugin:

1. Go to your Shopware admin panel

2. Navigate to:Settings > Extensions > Visible discounts and special offers

Here, configure the basic settings:

• Sales Channel: Select the sales channel(s) where the plugin should be active. You can also apply it to "All sales channels".

• Active: Make sure this toggle is enabled to activate the plugin.

• Discount Decimal Places (Product Listing): Enter the number of decimal places you want for discount percentages on product listings.

• Discount Decimal Places (Product Detail Page): Enter the number of decimal places for product detail pages.

Click Save after configuring these fields.

Step 2: Configure General Promotion Settings

1. Go to Shopware Admin Panel

2. Navigate to:
   Marketing > Discounts & Promotions > General Settings

3. Set Promotional Code Type to:
   No promotional code required

Step 3: Set Up Promotion Conditions

1. Go to:
   Marketing > Discounts & Promotions > Conditions

2. Make sure of the following:

   • Rule-Based Conditions: Leave this section empty (do not set any rules)

   • Prevent Combination with Other Promotions: Set this option to Off

   • Sales Channels:
     Assign the promotion to the correct sales channels where you want the discount to appear

Step 4: Set Discount Details

1. Navigate to:
   Marketing > Discounts & Promotions > Discount

2. Configure the following settings:

   • Apply To: Select Cart

   • Advanced Prices View: Make sure no advanced pricing is configured

Step 5: Assign List Prices to Products

This is an essential step to display visible discounts:

1. Go to:
   Catalog > Products > Edit Product

2. In the Pricing section:

   • Add a List Price for the product (this is the original price before discount)

   • Make sure the actual discounted price is lower than the list price

Why it's important:
Adding a list price will allow:

• Strikethrough pricing to appear

• Discount badges to show on both product pages and listing pages
